About me
I am a Chartered Psychologist and trained psychotherapist with over two decades of experience in diverse settings across the UK, Australia and Denmark. Over the years I have worked in the public sector, the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), and a number of specialised trauma treatment centres in Denmark and the UK.
Experience
I started my private practice in London in 2011 and now work from central Copenhagen seeing clients from many different walks of life and with a wide range of psychological needs. Additionally, I offer training, supervision, and consultancy services globally with a focus on working with survivors of trauma, through my consultancy, the Centre for Trauma and Wellbeing.
Having lived in numerous different countries since I was a child, I have developed an international outlook. I consider inclusivity, respect and a non-judgemental approach to be key characteristics in my work. My personal experiences have given me an understanding of the adjustment process involved in moving to and integrating into new cultures, including Denmark, which can be a particularly difficult place settle into.
Member of
I am an active member of the Danish Psychological Association (Dansk Psykologforening) and sit on the board of the Copenhagen and Frederiksberg branch of the association. I am also a registered member of the British Psychological Society and the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Training and development
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Australia, followed by a Doctorate in Psychology and Psychotherapy in London, UK. I am specialised in providing psychotherapy, with particular expertise in trauma therapy.
My training has incorporated long periods of personal therapy and closely supervised practice with experienced senior colleagues. I place a strong emphasis on both my personal and professional growth, having attended many professional trainings over the years. I continue to take part in various personal development workshops, including Family Constellation Therapy, Circling, and authentic relating workshops, among others.
I regularly consult with supervisors to discuss my clinical work and participate in a professional peer group consisting of other psychologists specialising in psychotherapy.
